Khajjiar

Khajjiar is just a small but really spectacular town of Himachal Pradesh, the state situated in the north of India. It is close to popular Dalhousie, surrounded by pine trees and charming Dhauladhar Mountains. Khajjiar is admired especially for mesmerizing nature, charming meadows and green forests. This appearance made it to be called “the mini Switzerland of India”.

Khajjiar has a small but sacred Khajjiar Lake with a temple on its bank that can be visited and another special holy spot. It is called Panch Pandav Tree related to five Pandavans of Mahabharata. Khajjiar is a part of Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary where wildlife watching is available.
